ГРАДСКА КЪЩА В ИРЛАНДИЯ

November 7, 2022

The project's task was to create a space attached to the main part of the house. The goal was to design a spacious kitchen that would act as the main focal point upon entering the ground floor and would be somewhat distant from the entrance door. The client's desires were simple yet strict – to have a clean interior that is simultaneously cozy and elegant.

According to the shape of the envelope, elongated and with relatively low ceilings, the decision was made to open the upper slab with translucent panels strategically placed on the roof, respecting the structural part of the ceiling while ensuring sufficient natural light even in the most remote corners of the adjoining area.

The volumes of the kitchen were evenly distributed within the space, resulting in two flanking modules where essential appliances such as refrigerator, sink, stoves, microwave oven, and storage cabinets equipped with the latest accessories are located. The island is the central element in the middle of the space, suitable for various activities among its inhabitants. Initially, textures were selected as a source of contrast. The main furniture and doors were chosen in matte black, combined with stone countertops treated with scratch and high-temperature resistant coating.
