The project takes place within a restored mountain house built at the beginning of the last century. The task was to create an expanded kitchen with an auxiliary island. The reconstruction began by removing vertical barriers such as walls, thereby freeing up space. The perpendicular beams, authentic to the building's original construction, were restored as per the client's request.In the project, doors and drawer fronts made of solid wood were used, alongside a Spanish marble countertop and a backsplash of hand-painted ceramic tiles from Seville.

The flooring, clad in ecru tiles, was chosen not only for its visual appeal but also for its functional attributes. The neutral tones of the tiles, reminiscent of weathered stones from local fields, contribute to an open and airy atmosphere. Functionally, the choice of ecru seamlessly connects the interior with the natural environment, intentionally blurring spatial boundaries.

The kitchen, situated at the heart of the villa, exemplifies the fusion of form and function. The solid oak cabinets integrate smoothly into the overall design, providing both storage efficiency and aesthetic continuity. Marble countertops with veins add a luxurious touch, while stainless steel appliances underscore a commitment to modern convenience within this rustic context.

In summary, the interior design of this rural villa is a testament to careful architectural planning, where materials, functionality, and aesthetic harmony blend to enrich the indoor environment.
